Samsung Galaxy S Gets Tested by the FCC, Coming Soon

April 12, 2010

Samsung Galaxy S I9000 is being tested by the FCC these days, revealing that it supports the 1900 MHz 3G Band, which is bad news for AT&T customers. Of course, this means that the device supports AT&T 3G, but it won’t be sold by this carrier.

The handset was announced back in March and we know that it packs a 1500 mAh battery, a 4 inch Super AMOLED 480 x 800 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, 720p HD video capture and a microSD card slot.

There’s also Android 2.1 on board, plus a 1 GHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 support, A-GPS and 16GB of internal memory.
