Taiwanese carrier Chunghwa Telecom has just launched the Garmin-Asus nuvifone M20 handset, a Windows Mobile phone that follows the G60, its predecessor, made available a month ago. While the nuvifone G60 used a proprietary OS, M20 relies on Windows Mobile and packs a VGA display, a 3 megapixel camera and more.
HSDPA connectivity is also supported, plus there are a lot of navigation features, since this is partially a Garmin device after all. However, don’t expect the M20 to make it big in Taiwan, since Chunghwa Telecom will also launch HTC Hero and iPhone 3GS in the country pretty soon, so the competition will be too tough for the Garmin-Asus handset.
