Apple Searching for iPhone Antenna Engineers; Trying to Fix the iPhone 4 Dropped Calls?

Could it be a coincidence that on the very day folks started reporting the dropped calls and signal issue on the iPhone 4, Apple posted a job listing for iPhone/iPad antenna engineers? They’re looking for experts to “define and implement antenna system architecture to optimize the radiation performance for wireless portable devices.”

Is the Cupertino giant trying to solve the antenna problem on the iPhone 4 or simply searching for new employees? We remind you that some iPhone 4 units lose signal when held in the user’s left hand, because his/her palm disrupts the antenna on the lower left side of the device.

Till now, Steve Jobs advised us to “hold the phone in some other way”…
