It seems that the brand new HTC Sensation dual core smartphone won’t only have an appealing interface, HTC Sense 3.0, but also its very own flavor of Swype keyboard, called HTC Trace. This technology is part of the new Sense UI, so we’ll maybe see it on HTC EVO 3D and HTC Flyer, too.
HTC Trace is disabled by default, but you can activate it in the keyboard settings menu, complete with customization options. For example, you can change the thickness of the lines that trace your letter connections as you make a word. This will solve the problem of thick fingers that stop you from typing right.
We remind you that Swype uses lines to connect the letters of a word, so you won’t have to lift your finger from the screen while pressing virtual keys, as you make up words. Will this ever reach Sense 2.x phones?
