Ledger had been working on his latest movie, “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” which was due to be released for 2009.

Ledger was found dead in a New York City apartment on January 22, 2008.

“Heath Ledger was found dead at 3:26 pm this afternoon,” a police spokesperson said, saying he was found in an apartment in the posh district of Soho. “We don’t know the cause of the death.”

The New York Times said Ledger was discovered by the housekeeper and a masseuse who arrived in the afternoon for an appointment.

The entertainment website TMZ said Heath was discovered “face down on the floor” adding that “law enforcement sources … believe it was not a crime.”

They knocked on the door, but “when no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed. They shook him, but he did not respond,” the Times said.

Both the New York Times and TMZ quoted officials as saying pills were found near the body, but gave no further details.

• Florida – has a state corporate income tax. Once had tax on “intangible personal property” held on the first day of the year (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, money market funds, etc.) but was abolished at the start of 2007. The Florida Constitution explicitly prohibits a personal income tax.
• Alaska – has a state corporate income tax
• Nevada
• New Hampshire – does have tax on interest and dividends
• Tennessee – does have tax on income received from stocks and bonds not taxed ad valorem (Tenn Const Art II, §28). The Tennessee Supreme Court has held that a personal income tax is unconstitutional.
• Texas – in May 2006, passed a gross receipts tax on businesses. The Texas Constitution places severe restrictions on passage of a personal income tax and use of its proceeds.
• Washington – has a corporate tax called the “Business and Occupation Tax (B&O)”, which is a gross receipts tax[4]

Vulnerabilities in Windows TCP/IP Could Allow Remote Code Execution (941644) This critical security update resolves two privately reported vulnerabilities in Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) processing. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.

Microsoft has released the usual update for the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool and the Windows Mail Definition Update (x86) (x64). Microsoft has also released a protection update for the Windows Vista Sidebar as well as the first prerequisite update for Vista SP1 for Ultimate/Enterprise users.
