Causing for quite the letdown, has reportedly scrapped plans for the opening of a girls school in Malawi.
Of the decision to drop the charitable school efforts, Malawi’s education minister Peter Mutharika said: “As a Government we’d be interested to know why there is this change.”
The move comes after Madge performed a brick-laying ceremony at the school site in Chinkhota Village, Lilongwe, in April 2010 while announcing it was her dream to build a school for girls to educate future doctors and lawyers.
But less than 12 months later the Material Girl has abandoned he plans, insisting she intends to create other secondary schools elsewhere in the country.
